Lucifer episode 11: Opposite day for the Devil means he's a Saint!

Firstly, I'm really pleased to announce to you guys that Lucifer has indeed been renewed for a second season by FOX! Woohooo!! Although the date is still pending, we can be sure that it will come out!

For those of you out there who don't know about this great TV show check out my previous blog post here! And don't go any further below than the trailer!

BEWARE SPOILERS!

This episode certainly had some interesting things hidden in it. Lets start with the good side of Lucifer. He turned down drunk Detective Decker for a fun night under the covers! This was a giant surprise in itself since he's been trying to get in her pants since the last few episodes.

And then he made a promise to bring the murderer of a philanthropist to justice! Just when did the Devil start doing that? The only thing that I can think of is that the evil in Lucifer is somehow being transferred to Amenadiel since not only did Amenadiel send someone back to Earth from Hell to kill Lucifer, but he also slept with our favorite demon Maze!

But the BIGGEST bit of information is about Lucifer's mortality. When he was shot by the wife of the dead philanthropist he didn't die! Now that was surprising. He calmly got up and walked up to the stage (so like the Devil). But even more than that was the fact that he bled when he was with Detective Decker. So does that mean the the detective is the person who makes Lucifer mortal when he is around her? As she said to him, she feels vulnerable when she's with him, but Lucifer feels mortal when he's with her. I guess she's more important!!

Check out the promo trailer for Lucifer episode 12 below...

Black Sails: End of season 3!

BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD!
If you haven't seen Season 3 of Black Sails, I suggest not going nay further than the trailer below and coming back once you've caught up. You won't be disappointed since Black Sails is probably the best pirate TV show out there!

Since the war between England and Nassau has been raging, there have been many casualties! With Woodes Rodgers and Eleanor Guthrie in charge, Nassau succumbed to English rule. However, since Captain Flint and his crew fled to an island filled with slaves, there was less conflict during the middle of the season. Check out my last post of Season 3 here!

However, the writers made up for this lack of death by the last few episodes. The most prominent death was definitely of Captain Charles Vane. With his death, we can be certain that Captain Flint and Blackbeard will retaliate in the most destructive way they can. His lack of fear in the face of death showed the pirates in Nassau that the fire of rebellion was far from put out yet! Even Rackham swore vengeance against Eleanor Guthrie who definitely had a hand in the death of her former lover.

In the last episode, we saw the pirates and the English fighting on the pirate island. Flint, Rackham and John Silver buried the Spanish gold on what we can only assume would become to be known as treasure island. With their victory, Captain Flint killed Captain Hornigold, which was long overdue.

In the final few minutes the episode showed the new pirate alliance of Blackbeard, Rackham, Flint, John Silver, Madi and Anne Bonny. We then heard Billy walking about how Nassau had been ruled by "madmen, rich men, tyrants, and now it is time for a king!" We can see that he was talking about the people at the table: so does that mean Long John Silver will be the next king of Nassau?

We can see that since, Vane is now gone, we will have Blackbeard in his stead. And since Blackbeard we can be sure that we will see the same crazy style of fighting as the totally awesome captain that we love. We will also be seeing the pirate queen Anne Bonny more in the next season! She's really been put through the ringer since the last two seasons so now it is time for her to come back!

Season 4 of Black Sails has been given the release date of January 2017! Be sure to comment your thoughts of the TV show though!

Arrow: Season 4's Major Death Revealed!

BEWARE: MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW!
So if you guys haven't had a chance to catch up on the latest episodes of Arrow's season 4 then check out the trailer and be sure to come back once you have watched it all...

Ever since a flashback from Season 2 of Flash and the beginning of Season 4 of Arrow, we have been warned of someone very close to Oliver dying as we see the grave. In Season 4 episode 18 of Arrow, we finally found out who the person in the grave was. Since, Felicity was seen to be with Oliver in the flashback, the only two people left that it could've been were Laurel Lance and Thea.

And it was Laurel! As revenge for Detective Lance betraying him, Damien Darhk steals back the idol which grants him power and kills Laurel. As it turns out, John Diggle's brother is indeed still a part of HIVE as he betrays the team. With his powers back Damien Darhk uses them to get one of Oliver's arrows and stab Laurel. We were slightly led to believe that she was going to survive when she became stable in the hospital. However, she suddenly died.

After Oliver and Felicity's break up, Olicity was over so I was almost hoping for Oliver and Lauren to get back together since in Oliver's flashbacks it seems that a picture of Laurel kept him going through the time he was marooned on the island. But Marc Guggenheim, Arrow's executive producer said to Collider:

"We told the Laurel-Oliver romance story in Season 1. We told that story, and we never really thought about going back to it. So, the ‘shipping' thing was not an element. It was not a factor for us."

But since no-one stays dead for long in the Flash and Arrow verse, we can be sure that we will see Laurel again. It may not be in Arrow, but since Katie Cassidy is playing a role later in Flash Season 2 as Earth 2 Laurel Lance and she is also going to have a role in Vixen Season 1 too. We can be sure that just because she is not in Arrow, that she is not completely out of the universe yet as there are the other DC verse shows too. Who knows, she may also appear in Legends of Tomorrow!

But currently in Arrow we know many tears will be shed in Laurel's funeral. I may even end up crying since it will definitely be extremely emotional. As found out there are chances of Nyssa's return too! I guess we'll have to see Malcolm Merlyn and Nyssa finish off their fight once and for all.

Check out the next episode's PROMO trailer below! It'll come out on April 27!

Supernatural Season 11: Will God be making an appearance?

There may be spoilers below so if you aren't up to date with Supernatural, it is recommend (by me!) that you catch up with current episodes. You have been warned! And you can also check out the season trailer...

Since the season is based on God's sister the Darkness, or Amara as she's known by to the brothers. No matter what the brothers do she has God level powers. When she was released by Dean having his curse mark removed from season 10. And as anyone who has been locked away by God since probably the beginning of time, or eons at the very least, Amara is out for revenge.

The biggest problem is her power. In my opinion, it seems very overpowering to put God's sister in the show if there isn't even anything strong enough to defeat her. All the angels in heaven attempted to smite her but failed. Even Lucifer attempted to use a Hand of God against her, which also failed. For this reason God must definitely appear in any way- even just a real dream to Sam not sent by Lucifer. TVline stated in one of their articles that Rob Benedict will appear again as Chuck, God's latest prophet.

The brothers therefore need Lucifer to be freed. Of course Lucifer, being the Devil and all, end up taking over Castiel and overthrowing Crowley as the king of hell, and deciding to annihilate the human race, as he does. So then they had to deal with both Amara and Lucifer. With an angry Crowley with them they have to take care of Lucifer before the Darkness but Amara ends up kidnapping Lucifer.

To further her ends Amara threatens to kill Lucifer, the first and probably favourite son of God. But will God show himself for the Devil? But maybe he's already helped out the Winchesters. In episode 17, 'Red Meat', Sam nearly dies or does he actually die and is there a greater power in action behind it all? TVline also stated that God would be focused upon more in the second half of the season as well as the effects of Death's death (that just sound weird but yeah!)

Batman v Superman: "Dawn of Justice" or simply a dusk for the film?

The ratings, despite all the hype before the film's release, weren't too good.
7.3/10 : IMDb
29% : Rotten Tomatoes
44% : Metacritic

If you haven't seen the film yet, don't let this get you down about what you think about the film. Check out the trailer below and listen to what your friends have to say about it if they've seen it.

The reviews dropped considerably since the premiere on the 25th March. Its IMDb rating dropped from 9.4/10 to just 7.3/10 in the first week. But, just after its first week, it plummeted (faster that Superman). Its first week gross domestically was about $166 million, however after that week the gross dropped by over $100 million and became just $52 million. Now, I'm not saying that's not a big amount of money, but if you consider the fact that it was a 69% drop, it could be considered disastrous for the film. Some critics, such as Gitesh Pandya, think that the film may not even break the $1 billion mark worldwide considering the rate of decline.

However, many big hits have had large declines. Take Harry Potter for example, which had a 72% weekend decline. It still went to break the $1 billion mark for the film. Worldwide, the film is currently passing the $600 million break point to about $684 million. Now THIS is a big number. It could be thought that maybe it isn't too bad when we look at films such as The Dark Knight Rises which grossed around $1.1 billion worldwide or Iron Man 3 which grossed about a bit more that $1.2 billion.

What did you think of Batman VS Superman?

What we can be sure is that this film is certainly going to be leading into many different DC universe films. Wonder Woman is already on its way as well as the newest Flash film too. We definitely have those to look forward to!

TWD Season 6 finale "Something to Fear" indeed!

I was on holiday for a few weeks but now that I'm back in civilization, the first thing to do was catch up on all missed TV show episodes (as you do!). So the time to see the season 6 finale of The Walking Dead! And OH MY GOD it was such an unbelievable cliff hanger.

If you haven't seen the episode it's something that you must watch as soon as possible! Just check out the promo trailer which I watched before going on holiday...

Be sure you've watched the episode before going any further: SPOILERS below!

It seemed to be going so well for the group from season 6. Sure it could be seen that the good luck could only last for SO long. But still, in the last few episodes, things went so badly for the group it's almost like the writers decided that they didn't want the group to feel anything close to comfort!

After multiple deaths through the season, the finale ended with the appearance of Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. With Rick's group captured and lined up in front of him and his barb wire studded baseball bat, which he calls Lucille, we see him swing the bat at SOMEONE! But it is not shown who was killed in the final minutes of the season finale. The producers promised that fans would find who the dead person was in the season 7 premiere which will come out some time early this October! They also left us with the nugget of information that the person who died is someone who is loved very much.

"Eeny Meeny Miny Moe... WHACK!"
So who is it? In the comic books, Negan killed Glenn. And as per the nugget of information, it could very well be him since he is very much loved by fans. However, the TV show has not entirely followed the comic books for its plot. Also it is unlikely that the person killed was Rick or Carl since Negan warned Rick if he moved he would be fed his son's remaining eye. But the most loved characters are probably the core members of the Rick group in my opinion it would be between Maggie, Glenn, Daryl or Michonne. BUT the truth is simply that it could be anyone!

Be sure to comment who you think Negan killed below...

The Flash: Season 2 so far! And Episode 16 promo

After catching up on the second season of The Flash in one LONG binge watching session, I was left speechless by the end. New plot twists just kept appearing one after the other in unbelievable ways and kept me watching through the emotional roller-coaster. I can't believe what it must have been for the characters if they were real.

If you haven't seen the second season yet be sure to check out the trailer below and don't read on! Unless you want spoilers of course...

So to start, it certainly took me a while to wrap my head around the concept of there being different Earths and universes which could be travelled between. But I finally understood! With the appearance of another Flash, a.k.a Jay Garrick, (played by Teddy Sears) from Earth 2, I felt something was wrong, especially when he was someone whose speed force had bee stolen. With the new arch-nemesis, The Flash brought back what it had lost after the death of Reverse Flash, someone who was Barry's focus to get even faster to be able to beat!

Jay Garrick became such a vital part of the team, helping despite not having his speed force anymore. He was the forebringer of warning to the team about Zoom! It became apparent that Harrison and Jay didn't get on very well on Earth 2 but they seemed to reconcile after Jay saved Harrison's life. But then episode 15 ends with Zoom stabbing Jay Garrick through the chest... only to take off his own mask and be Jay Garrick!

This sent my mind reeling and after reading all possible theories, I'm still really baffled! I guess I'll just have to wait till the break is over on the 22nd of March! Check out the upcoming episodes' promo trailer below...

Explaining the point of there being another Harrison Wells (played by Henry Cavanagh) from Earth 2 is confusing too! The Earth 1 counterpart was the Reverse Flash, who was killed at the end of Season 1. This Harrison Wells had a daughter! Personally, I thought that this season would follow a similar storyline of the last season but everything changed when Harrison Wells began to help Barry. Ofcourse the ulterior motive is that Zoom has his daughter held hostage to steal Barry's speed force like Zoom did with Jay Garrick. I guess Harrison Wells on any Earth all have secrets hidden deep down! But who is the masked man who is also imprisoned with Wells' daughter?

Now, Cisco (played by Carlos Valdes) revealed his powers to everyone! And gave himself a new superb name: Vibe! This was not new news to any watchers since he had been having these visions since his death in the alternate timeline, which was deleted when Barry went back in time in Season 1, at the hands of the Reverse Flash.

Black Sails: Season 3 so far!

It would be an understatement if I were to say that I was NOT expecting the plot twists that have happened in Black Sails so far. If you haven't seen the release of the new season be sure to check out my last post about #BlackSails here before going any further!

BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD!

After the loss of his beloved in the last season, it seems that Captain Flint has nearly lost his mind. The only thing stopping him from insanity is probably John Silver. Through the first few episodes, they seem hostile towards each other however, when they are captured in a remote island they seem to get their relationship knitted while facing death. Long John Silver is finally realizing the effects of delving into the deep dark places inside Captain Flint to keep him on the edge.
Luckily he has Madi Scott on the island to keep him company. But will this relationship change into something more...?

And Flint's feud with Blackbeard. As he is one of the most feared pirates on the Seven Seas, it was my opinion that it would be best for Captain Flint and Captain Vane to keep in his good graces, however its just another day for them: fighting to the death in a gun-slinging duel! Charles Vane used to be Blackbeard's second hand man until he betrayed Blackbeard, and helped Eleanor throw him off the island to gain control of Nassau. But it appears he is willing to forgive that. But will he forgive this SECOND betrayal?

But after Eleanor's arrest, it appears the powerhouse of the British Empire is being seen through Woodes Rodgers. Woodes decides he needs Eleanor's help to take over And they end up being in control of Nassau with help of the allure of the universal pardon for all crimes. The last season ended with Captian Hornigold taking the pardon and becoming a pirate hunter for the Empire.

But I'm so happy that Rakham is still making a name for himself. He may not be as good at pirating as the others but if there's one thing that he has: it's guts and courage. His trick with his letter to Anne about not giving Woodes the half of the Spanish gold, which he and Anne Bonny stole, was something even I wasn't expecting. Since Woodes really needs the money, it seems that Rakham stopped Woodes' takeover of Nassau; a name making task. Well Done Rakham!

Now it's all up to Anne Bonny. She has Woodes on her back but she also has Charles Vane and Captain Flint who want the gold to fund their attack on Nassau! I guess we'll only find out in the next few episodes!

This year's Oscars were hosted by Chris Rock. He hosted it for the second time since 2005. This year however, the viewer count was drastically lower, with only 34.3 million viewers unlike in 2005 when it was 42.1 million. The highest viewer count for the Oscars was in 2004 when 'Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King' won and was hosted by Billy Crystal; there were 43.5 million viewers!

Leonardo DiCaprio took the Oscar graciously and as well as thanking his friends he also reminded everyone of the environment! What a guy...

And there was also Chris Rock's monologue. After the controversy about the slightly 'racist' awards, I felt Chris handled the situation fine. He embedded both jokes and facts into his monologue making ti both entertaining and interesting to watch. Check it out...

AND what's more is that he sold girl scout cookies TOO!

Sneak Peak at Lucifer episode 6: 'Favorite Son'!

With Lucifer's sixth episode coming out this Monday on 29th February, FOX has released its episode promo trailer! Check it out below...

Initially, Lucifer is bored with his and Detective Decker's biker gang murder case. However, this soon changes as he convinces her to let him back onto the case!

As it turns out, in this episode, Lucifer has had something of great value stolen from him. As Maze emphasizes "THE container". It apparently has something which Lucifer wants back really badly as it was a gift from his father: God, so it is probably something very important. In the promo it seems as if it affects Maze too as she is off trying to get Lucifer back to Hell and seems to be helping him... even knocking out Detective Douche, as seen at the end!

Be sure to like and share! Also check out my post about the episode 5 and Maze's true face!

London Has Fallen: Coming soon!

The sequel to Olympus Has Fallen is coming next month on 3rd March. When Olympus Has Fallen came out in 2013, there was also White House Down which was another secret spy coming out in the exact same year. Both films were about attacks on the White House and the American president but Olympus Has Fallen seemed to do better grossing about $160 million. Hence the sequel for it!

Check out the trailer below...

Similar to its predecessor, the film is filled with action and gunfights surrounding Secret Service agent Mike Banning (played by Gerard Butler) and President Benjamin Asher (played by Aaron Eckhart). After the British Prime Minister dies, his funeral is used as a target for a terrorist organization. Mike Banning, given the mission to protect the President by Secret Service Director Lynn Jacobs (played by Angela Bassett), and President Benjamin Asher must stop them before it is too late but this time they have help in the form of an MI6 agent (played by Charlotte Riley). And of course this film can't be complete without Morgan Freeman as the vice-president of the USA!

Olympus Has Fallen got many mixed reviews and it ratings were 6.5/10- IMDb, 48% Rotten Tomatoes, 41% Metacritic. In this respect it can be seen that London Has Fallen will probably continue the same level due to a very similar plot and story. But we never know!

If you haven't seen Olympus Has Fallen be sure to check out the trailer below...

Be sure to keep lookout for my next post where I'll be reviewing my very first film! It's a new thing for me so be sure to tell me any areas for improvement.

A demon's true intentions: Maze shows herself!

After Lucifer episode 5's release two days ago, I've been more interested in this show than ever. With Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) beginning to become obsessed with his own mortality and the possibility of him becoming mortal and maybe even dying, Maze's (played by Lesley-Ann Brandt) concern is growing.

After episode 4, when Maze had an encounter with Lucifer's brother and fellow angel, Amenadiel (played by D B Woodside), it was obvious that she would begin to have second thoughts about coming to Los Angeles from Hell with Lucifer.

But I wasn't expecting this. She blames Lucifer's changes on Detective Chloe Decker (played by Lauren German) and the episode ended with Mazikeen's true face being shown observing the detective in her sleep. Not the extremely gorgeous and lovable face of Maze that we know... but the alter ego, the darker demon that lurks beneath her.

If you're already watching this series be sure to tell me how you find it! If you just found out about it be sure to check out my last post about Lucifer episode 2 here!

'Winter is Trumping': Game of Thrones Mashup!

Everyone knows the series Game of Thrones and I'm sure most of you are vigilantly waiting for the new season to come out this April. But the spoof which was recently released released by imaginative Youtuber, Huw Parkinson, is a way of quenching your thirst for more while you wait!

The mashup shows Donald's head being placed on the characters of the TV show itself and the talks have been taken out of his presidential speeches. Funny thing is... they work perfectly in context with what is going on in Westeros...

I guess the GOP candidate is rising to even greater heights, as he's set his eyes on Westeros after he attempts get control of USA. He fits right in!

Just how funny is Sacha Baron Cohen? Ridiculously graphic 'Grimsby' teaser clip!

We all know that actors go and promote their films all over the world but this may just be one of the best teasers for a film that has ever been shown. Recently, on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Sacha showed a clip from his new film 'The Brothers Grimsby' that was SO graphic that it couldn't even be shown on broadcast.

Check it out...

Sacha also showed at the Jonathon Ross Show on which Stephen Fry said "I thought I was going to have an asthma attack!" After all, this is the clip that nearly gave the film an NC-17 rating but after talks it ended up being R-rated instead!

Apparently, the clip shows the brothers escaping by hiding inside an elephant. Unfortunately, the elephant begins to have sex with another elephant! So they attempt to speed up the process... successfully!

In some ways this kind of put me off watching the film. But then again, who can miss a film from the famous Dictator/ Borat/ Ali G. Just another release from one of the comedy kings. So I am totally looking forward to watching the film! Great marketing Sacha!

In case you didn't see my post with the real trailer for the film- click here

Deadpool absolutely WRECKING box office records!

"From the studio that inexplicably sewed his mouth shut the first time, comes... me!"
Deadpool

Remember when most film companies were putting off making Deadpool into a film? Well aren't they regretting it now. I bet Deadpool is just waving his backside to them through the film too.

In its opening weekend it grossed over $135 million. It broke Fifty Shades of Grey's weekend gross by nearly $45 million and also crushed the previous R-rated film opening record by The Matrix Reloaded, set in 2003, of $91.7 million. Also the last R-rated record of a comic adaptation was set by the 300 with $70.8 million. Well we can say that they aren't feeling the love this Valentines.

Of-course it did certainly have some very good reviews. It even got Betty White's seal of approval so I'm totally there in the cinema now...

It was also the largest ever opening weekend for the 20th Century Fox. Their previous record was held by 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith' which was $108 million but Deadpool crushed this record too. It also made a giant $125 million worldwide too.

The film itself has been #1 in the charts this week with 'How to be Single' coming in #2. Other new films will be released soon but there doesn't seem to be any competition for next week or the week after so it is most likely that Deadpool will reign king!

Ratings:

IMDb: 8.7/10
Metacritic: 64%
RottenTomatoes: 84%

AND its only going to go up from here!

Be sure to comment your thoughts if you saw Deadpool this weekend too!

X-men Apocalypse! Trailer released!

The trailer for the new X-men Apocalypse film was released at the Super Bowl last week! Check it out below...

The has an official release date of 27th May 2016 and will have most of the mutants in it, although they will be their younger selves, apart from Wolverine. We are still unsure whether Wolverine will actually be in this film bu there are also talks about making a new solo Wolverine film.

The plot is that the very first immortal mutant, Apocalypse (played by Oscar Isaac) was once worshiped as a god is now awake again. He recruits Magneto (played by Michael Fassbender) to help him create a civilization under his control. Professor Xavier (played by James McAvoy) and Mystique (played by Jennifer Lawrence) attempt to save the world with the help of a team of mutants.

Mutants that also appear include Jean Grey, Storm, Psylocke, Cyclops, Beast, Nightcrawler, Gambit, Havoc, Quicksilver and many more.

New Jason Bourne Trailer released!

Even though the film has no name, the release date has been decided!

The new film was officially announced at the Superbowl two days ago and the trailer was released yesterday. Check it out below...

Directed by Paul Greengrass the film will be out in 29 July this year. It stars Matt Damon (as Jason Bourne obviously), Julia Stiles as Nicky Parsons but new faces are also being introduced. Tommy Lee Jones is going to be Robert Dewey the CIA director while Alicia Vikander whose character is yet to be released will be a cyber technology operative and Vincent Cassel as well as others.

The plot is yet to be released but in an interview Matt Damon stated that this film would answer the unanswered questions and "completes the journey" from the first three films in the franchise. The film started filming last year in areas like Berlin and as with the first films Matt Damon himself works in the fight scenes.

Alvin and the Chipmunk: The Road Chip! Another 'squeakquel'!

The very successful chipmunk franchise has finally released its fourth film! It was released just before Christmas on 4th December 2015. Directed by Walt Becker it had a budget of $90 million but made a profit in the box office with $155.4 million!

Even I didn't know about it a few weeks before the release!

Check out the trailer...

The plot is basically that the chipmunks feel scared that a wedding is on the way when Dave Seville's (played by Jason Lee) relationship with Samantha (played by Kimberly Williams-Paisley) is in full swing. So when Dave goes to Miami to propose his record to artist Ashley Grey (played by Bella Thorne) with Samantha, the chipmunks get onto a plane to follow him and sabotage his apparent 'proposal'. On the way there, they are chased by Air Marshall James Suggs (played by Tony Hale). Of course as you expect, Dave never intended to propose so the chipmunk caused so much trouble over nothing... AGAIN!

Ratings:

IMDb: 4.1/10
RottenTomatoes: 20%
Metacritic: 33%

In my opinion, despite such negative ratings the film itself is great fun to watch. It is a perfect family comedy film which is agreeable to all ages of people. Definitely something I would recommend based on its predecessors!

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice!

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film will finally be released on 26th March in the UK and USA. It was previously meant to be released in 2004 but Warner Bros. never really got around to it so we are looking forward to this one. It is 2 hours 31 minuted long and has a supposed budget of $200 million. It will be the first film to have both Superman and Batman going head to head.

But from the trailer it seems the money was put to good use...

Not much is known about the plot for this film but as far as we know, after the events of 'The Man of Steel' the US government has finally allied itself with Superman (aka Clark Kent or Kal-El played by Henry Cavill) when he returns. But battle-weary Batman (aka Bruce Wayne played by Ben Affleck) travels from Gotham holding Superman responsible for the events.

There are some theories that this film will lead to the construction of the Justice League as the animated series has shown to be made by all the DC superheroes together. Furthermore, we know that Wonder Woman (aka Diana Prince played by Gal Gadot), Lex Luthor (played by Jesse Eisenberg), Lois Lane (played by Amy Adams), Aquaman (played by Jason Momoa), Alfred J Pennyworth (played by Jeremy Irons), Cyborg (aka Victor Stone played by Ray Fisher) and Flash (played by Ezra Miller) will also be in the film.

So which side are you on?

TED 2: Who said bears aren't alive?

Wishes make things so much more likely to happen.

Ted 2 is such a heartwarming story that  I was moved to tears... with laughter mostly though. Despite the warm and cute teddy bear it is not a story for young children due to certain R rated jokes...

Thunder buddies John (played by Mark Wahlberg) and Ted (the teddy voiced by Seth McFarlane) as back at it again. Despite John being a bachelor after his breakup from Lori (played by Mila Kunis), he is very happy that Ted is now wed to Tami-Lynn (played by Jessica Barth). But there is a problem... they can't have a child...

Of course they go to the next best option: adoption! But Ted is not officially recognized as a human by the State so they can't do that either. So guess what they do... they fight it by getting a lawyer Samantha Jackson (aka Sam. L. Jackson played by Amanda Seyfried) who is constantly compared to Golem.

Was 'The Last Witch Hunter' really that bad?

Check out the trailer below for a first impression...

The film, directed by Breck Eisner, was released on 23rd October 2015 in the USA with a running time of 1 hour and 46 minutes. Its New York City premiere was held 13th October 2015 at the Loews Lincoln Square. Its box office gained about $126 million during its release by Lionsgate. Unfortunately, reviews have not been very good.

For those who still have not seen it, the plot is essentially that many hundreds of years before present time a witch hunter Kaulder (played by Vin Diesel) slayed the all-powerful Witch Queen (played by Julie Engelbrecht). Before dying she cursed him to immortality so he lost his family in the wind of time and was unable to meet them again in the afterlife. From that day forward Kaulder always had a Dolan to record his activities.

Now in present day the Witch Queen is once again rising. The 36th Dolan (played by Michael Caine) is retiring and choosing the 37th Dolan (played by Elijah Wood). Sadly, he is killed, as found out by Kaulder and the 37th Dolan, by a witch called Belial (played by Olafur Darri Olafsson). When hunting Belial they receive the assistance of  Chloe (played by Rose Leslie) who's friend was also killed by that witch. As it turns out, Belial intends to be the sacrifice for the revival of the Witch Queen, who is still alive as her life is linked to Kaulder. The trio are able to kill Belial however the Witch Queen is revived by the sacrifice of another witch.

During the final fight, Kaulder is about to kill the Witch Queen and himself to end this once and for all but he is stopped by Chloe saying that the world still needs a witch hunter. The endings shows the heart of the Witch Queen still beating as Kaulder is still alive...

Ratings:

IMDb: 6/10
RottenTomatoes: 16%
Metacritic: 34%

Personally, I didn't find the film all too bad. Sure the plot twists were a bit predictable and cliche and the acting could've been better slightly, but sure it didn't deserve such negative reviews did it? Be sure to leave a comment about what you think and follow for more!
